Hosted in Saudi Arabia, the event was the largest of its kind, drawing over 500 million viewers and solidifying its position as the most-watched esports event of the year. The tournament featured a diverse range of popular games, including League of Legends, Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, and FIFA, among others and a staggering $60,000,000 total prize pool.


Major Highlights:Team Falcons' Victory: Hometown heroes, Team Falcons, emerged as the first-ever Esports World Cup Club Champions. Their impressive campaign, which included victories in two tournaments and six top-three finishes, earned them the championship title and a $7 million prize. This victory was celebrated in a grand closing ceremony that highlighted the transformative impact of esports on global culture.


League of Legends Showdown: One of the standout moments of the World Cup was the League of Legends final, where T1 from South Korea triumphed over China's Top Esports with a 3-1 victory. The final, which peaked at 3.5 million concurrent viewers, showcased the continued dominance of T1 and their legendary player, Faker, further cementing his status in esports history.
